Event Details

As unwavering allies to the LGBTQ+ community, Project Rise will play host to OUTWOD’s Power of Pride Competition on June 1st, 2019 in Denver, CO.

Teams of 2 will compete within the walls (and beyond) of PROJECT RISE FITNESS, located at 2115 S Birch St, Denver, CO 80222.

There will be 2 Main Events, 1 Final Event for top teams and an ONLINE FUNDRAISING EVENT that will keep the competition FIERCE.

Fundraising supports the programs of The OUT Foundation and The Matthew Shepard Foundation.


PRICING

Before April 30: $100 per team
On or After May 1: $150 per team

Each competitor will receive:
Power of Pride Competition Shirt
PRIDE SOCKS
Reusable Tote Bag


DIVISIONS

CHOOSING YOUR DIVISION:

Please choose the division and weight within that division that reflects your skill level.

Note: Teams will be disqualified if noticeably gaming the division system and will be asked to sit out the remainder of the competition.

HOW THE TEAMS WORK:

Teams are 100% gender inclusive and can consist of any combination of gender identities.
The only rule is that both team members can perform the required skills per division.


WORKOUTS + EVENTS

EVENT ONE
18 minute AMRAP, one athlete working at a time, split as you wish

DIVISION 1

30 Squat Cleans (135/95)
40 Burpee Over Barbell
50 Pull-Ups
20 Squat Cleans (155/105)
30 Burpee Over Barbell
40 Chest to Bar Pull-Ups

In the remaining time, complete as many reps as possible of:
Squat Cleans (185/125) and/or Bar Muscle Ups

DIVISION 2

30 Squat Cleans (115/75)
40 Burpee Over Barbell
50 Ring Rows
20 Squat Cleans (135/95)
30 Burpee Over Barbell
40 Pull-Ups

In the remaining time, complete as many reps as possible of:
Squat Cleans (155/105) and/or Chest to Bar Pull-Ups

DIVISION 3

30 Squat Cleans (75/55)
40 Burpee Over Barbell
50 Jumping Pull-Ups
20 Squat Cleans (95/65)
30 Burpee Over Barbell
40 Ring Rows

In the remaining time, complete as many reps as possible of:
Squat Cleans (115/75) and/or Pull-Ups

For time, 12 minute cap, one athlete working at a time, split as you wish
